Malibu clip options?

The clip on my Malibu catches on absolutely everything and bent enough times that it broke when I tried to bend it back this time, so I had to request a new one from ProTech. Are there any options for something different out there? The TRM Atom clip looks like it’s similar layout for the screw holes but with a less intrusive end. Has anyone tried that or have both and is willing to check if it will fit?
 
The tab that fits into the scale is to long on the Atom clip to work in a Malibu, just tried :-( otherwise it would work

thank you for the reply. Is it the bottom of the tab or the top near the bend? If it’s the bottom, do you think it could fit with a dremel and a bit of hand filing?
 
The portion near the bend is where the excess length is located. The other end is rounded and I do not think you can remove enough material to get the tab to fit without being into the slot where the screws go

Resurrecting this from the dead in case google leads anyone here. LynchNW now has a deep carry clip for the Malibu that is leagues above the factory clip. It is much recommended.

I traded my Malibu because of the clip. Seems I may have to get another and get the Lynch clip.
