With buddy doing 'errands'. We went into the 'Remington' store at Baybrook Mall. Handled several including EDC 154CM. Sorry but my Kershaws 'feel' better even if crappy steel.

There were some really great >looking< China knives at 10 bucks...

They had several Euro model Saks at from 11.95 to 13.95... fairly big knives and none had phillips screwdriver. Tinker was 26.95 there, only 19.95 at Wally World.

Sometime when I'm not flat busted, I think I'll go sniff around in there again...

(It's sad when finances are such that an $11.95 knife will be left behind for not having a certain blade!!!)

Well, the EDC isn't for everyone, just most everyone ;) As for Kershaws, I really like the ergos on the Vapors and on the other onions, but their basic knives seem pretty boxy and uncomfortable to me. sorry you didn't find what you were looking for.

No, it's more like I found stuff that I couldn't or wouldn't afford!

And it did lead to a discovery or two. Yes, I mean Vapor and Vapor II when I say Kershaw. I handled a buddies 'large linerlock' Kershaw and while very light and pretty solid, it has a big boxy feeling and the clip leaves around an inch sticking up out of the pocket.

I will say it again. Ken must have used MY hand as the basis for the shape of particullarly the Vapor II. That thing just feels GREAT!!!!

EDC is more like Vapor sized, and has edges where the Onions are smooth.

But what is in my pocket RIGHT now? Benchmade 350 (I rotate knives)
