Mall Store Lament

I don't normally visit knife shops at malls but this year I got a sizable gift certificate to one. So I troop out only to find the mall store stocks only the low end of every thing. The guys manning the counter were knowledgeble and wanted to help. I asked if they had more Spyderco's - was told what I saw was what they had. Asked me what model I was looking for and when I replied "Military" the fellow sounded embarrassed saying they didn't have that one. I guess thay have problems selling the top end Benchmades and Spydercos. Dang - left the store empty handed. :grumpy:
