Malla Arrived

Well, the Bura Malla from 11/19 batch arrived. 18" OA length, 1 11/16" wide, 5/16" thick -- all leading to petite 1.25 lbs weight. Slight corrosiion near tip doesn't deserve being called rust - more a tiny area of discoloration.

When we had Vikash helping these kind of minor blems never made it to the blem box. And, before the bypass surgery I did a lot of cleanup myself so again many of today's blems never made it to the blem box. Now that Yangdu is saddled with trying to do almost everything alone she just doesn't have the time for much cleaning and polishing. It's okay though because a lot of very good knives are making it into customers hands at good prices. Keeps the kamis working. There's a strong upside to blems.

My last purchase was also a Bura Malla. Shortly thereafter, I lost interest in all of my other khuks and sold them; including a Bilton, Kothimoda Dhankuta, and that Durba Chiruwa AK that I think you bought from me on eBay. At least they "stayed in the family."
