I have a new Malla coming .......very excited :o

18" 25 oz I just snagged on the YBB on 11/26.......toothpicks supporting barely openned eyes. :o

What I am to expect ? Love that pointy shape........:)

I am excitedly awaiting a 19" foxy folly special order. I am on pins and needles too. I bet that Malla is going to be cool. I think that design is sweet. Happy waiting.

I'm very happy with my own Malla made by Bura. In my case the cho is very deep and weakens the blade, but Bura left the spine of the blade so thick that it will hold true.

I like my Malla. It is a fighter, a looker, and can even chop wood.

I think the Malla is the closest thing to a Indy Racer Car the Kamis make.

Andy, we want to hear about this one. We had more trouble than you can imagine getting the Kami's to make a run at 17" and 24 oz., getting everything from 17" and 34 oz. to 21" and 28 oz. and 21" and 24 oz., so I will be very interested in seeing how a 19" order turns out! ;)

Astro, I predict you will love it. They have a flat spine and are one of my all time favorite designs. I understand it is a reproduction of an old kukri found buried somewhere; I don't recall the details offhand, but believe the info is on the shopping site.

You also got a fantastic deal on that one at just $75. (Way back when I think I paid close to twice that for the ones I have.) A little bit of rust removal and you're in business.

Please let us know how you like it.

Me too Norm!!!!!!!!! Meanwhile I've gotten a JKM and a Sarge that I'm very happy with. I think the JKM and the Karda I got are really great knives. They are so utilitarian, made to be used. I've never owned a small knive with as much weight and as thick a blade as the JKM I got. Incidentally I got the JKM bug from your post showing off your GRS in horn. The JKM in that pic was a looker for sure. I got one just like it!:D
