Malware Alert - ?

Hmmm.... (I forget there are ads anywhere, because I don't see 'em!)

Using Chrome, I can click on all other pages in that thread, but trying to go to that one page--#15-- still results in a Malware alert.

Safari allows me to view the page, no Malware alert, no discernible issues.

I wonder if Chrome is either being too finicky, or is susceptible to something that Safari isn't?

I've just not run into any other page, here or on any other site, where I've encountered that message so thought I'd best report it.

Thanks!

Firefox gives the same Google alert.

yeah and there's nothing on that page that justifies it. sounds like there was a bad ad on there at some time and google hasn't flushed it.

The alert I get gives more info as to where the threat is coming from. Hope this helps...

That's been happening for quite a while (months, maybe), though it does seem worse lately. For me, it seems to happen if attempting a 'Post Quick Reply', or when editing previous posts from the standard editor. When hitting the 'Post Quick Reply' or 'Save' button, there's usually a very, very long pause, after which the standard editor jumps to the Advanced Editor with my post still open for editing (and not giving any indication that it actually did already post my reply, which it did). If assuming the reply wasn't already posted, and finishing and posting from the Advanced Editor, then PRESTO!! A double-post. When I see that long pause, after the 'Post Quick Reply' in the standard editor, I've learned to immediately open another tab in my browser and check the BF forum to which I just posted my reply. If I see it's updated with my new reply/edit, I'll ignore the open edit in the Advanced Editor, and close that tab without re-posting. This has been going on long enough that it's almost habit for me now. :(

Its been slow when clicking onto 'my pofile' to see previous posts after login. New posts seem fine, but making quick reply can be very slow.
