As a bonus, Scott added some texture to the front of the guard.

That is outstanding! Excellent lines, great steel and some KILLER koa!

Nice work.

Really cool. Neat how the lines in the steel mesh with the lines in the Koa. Really really cool. And I bet that wood looks a whole lot better in person even than it does in the photos.

Superb!! One of Scott's best design taken to a new level with a stunning damascus blade and a really beautiful Koa!
Lydia, you take very nice outdoor photos. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone. I think Scott is really proud of this one. Here's a redo on the textured guard shot as well. There was some glue at the joint that showed up in the photo and it really bothered Scott, so he removed the glue and I did the shot over. Here's my hand standing in for Scott's. Not nearly as impressive, but a fair bit cleaner:)

Scott, That is a very nice package. I really like the flow of the Damascus into that killer Koa. Very well done.

Thanks Lydia for posting

Beautiful work. Top notch.

Note; I pity the man that Scott McGhee ever had a need to lay hands on.

That Mamba is as clean and neat as, well, as, that is, as Scotts's hands are dirty! And that's saying a lot!

(Really is a beautiful knife. Great job.)

I've always liked this design, but with Damascus and the fine Koa this knife is exceptional.:thumbup::thumbup:

The damascus blade and the Koa work so well together.
Aggressive blade shape, clean everything.
Great design and work, Scott.
Excellent shots, Lydia.
