Here's the sequel to the folder I showed with the boo boo about a week or so ago. After taking a little time away to work up the integral, I finally got back to finishing up this one.
OAL is 5 7/8" w/ 2 1/2" blade. The steel is the last of that one-of-a-kind mosaic bar. Blade and bolsters. Scales, back spacer and stud in the thumb stud are all mammoth ivory. the pictures don't show it very well but the ti liners are heat colored, from blue to purple. The screws are also heat colors.

Thanks for lookin,

Bill

Bill that is a total class act! I really like the ivory spacer and thumb stud, that really sets this beauty off. What fine work, this is the kind of stuff that makes me want to make a folder some day... Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration!

Beautiful work Bill. That damascus is breathtaking. I love the shape too. You're an inspiration.

Bill: How did you thickness the spacer of ivory? I know it needs to be right on...so.....?

Love the back spacer - great idea and good looking!

Bill, Send me the bobo knife. I've been thinking of starting a collection of them and that will be the first one. Nice go on this one.....

Thanks for the comments everyone.

John L. I grind it close with my belt grinder and then I take it to my disc sander and slowly/carefully remove the excess until its real close.

Thanks,

Bill

That's it, I'm not even going to try another folder now. I'll stick with bowies & daggers.
