I haven't posted anything lately and thought I would put this one up. It is a 4 inch hunter with a flat ground blade of CPM S30V, stainless bolsters and pins, with mammoth ivory scales. The sheath is made from a Texas alligator that had no further use for the skin. It is headed to Jim Small for some engraving tomorrow and then to a special customer that has no idea that it is coming.

Harry the title got me. hehe
Nice work on both the hunter and sheath. The large bolsters are perfect for the engraving. He is going to be surprised!

a surprise gift- man, that dude is gonna be stoked when that beauty shows up at his doorstep

Harry, the cat is out of the bag and even though I not a customer, I am special (or at least that is what they told me in school). :) I will be waiting on the mail man daily until it arrives.

Seriously, somebody is gonna be very happy. Great work.

Robert

Thanks for the comments guys. When we get this one back from Jim Small, we will post a follow up picture. Robert we probably would have given it to you in person if you had come to the Georgia Guild meeting. Course then it was in "kit" form. You have to get to the point where those border crossings aren't so traumatic. Hope to see you at Trackrock.

Just got this one back from Jim Small and it is ready to go to the customer. I thought y'all might like to see a
picture of it finished. I thought Jim's work made it turn out kind of nice.

Knowing the guy that is getting this one, I would be very surprised if it dosen't get a good bit of use this coming fall.
