After getting back from Little Rock, it was back out to the shop to finish up an order for a client. This is a 1084 Sendero-style hunter/utility with Woolly Mammoth ivory scales over an interframe handle.
It was actually finished last November in Desert Ironwood. A little space around one of the pins kept me awake for months and I could never bring myself to put it out there. So, with stomach churning, I knocked the wood off, escutcheon plate and all, and filled my next order with the required ivory. Turned out fine and will be delivered tomorrow. A weight off my shoulders for sure.
Cheers,
