I ordered a raindrop damascus blade for my Mammoth Mnandi a while back, and i finally got the call from Heather to, "send it in". I almost sold this knife a few times, but i'm glad i held onto it. I also asked if they could install a "new clip", as i really prefer the new style. Anyway, just wanted to post these pics, as we fans here don't normally see pics of a knife before and after a blade change, side by side. The pics all have different lighting, so it's difficult to truly get good comparison shots. All opinions welcome!

I always enjoy looking at great mammoth bark and excellent pictures.
 
Very nice! Damascus and bark go well together.
I prefer the new clip as well.

I didn't realize they made blades out of Mammoth. Cool! Kinda looks like Damascus. LOL:D

Beautiful. Nice match of blade and scale coloration. Easy on the eye. And very instructive post. I did not realize you could order a damascus blade for a knife you already own. Hmmmm.....

Could you speak a bit about the process and how long it took?
It's pretty cool that you can personalize a favorite non-Damascus knife.

Wonderful pairing by the way, the Damascus really looks wonderful on your Mammoth
