I want to have a set of mammoth ivory scales made for my Sog Tomcat 3.0 along with a carry clip. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, and relatively in-expensive place to have this done?

In-expensive? The mammoth tooth I just used cost $120 for the set of scales, I don't call that in-expensive.

You're looking at anywhere from $100-$400 simply for material. If that's not a problem, send me an email.

Well, When I said Relatively in-expensive I meant that I can't afford ultra high end. I know it will cost me some cash to do. But I just want to find the best deal. Also Phillip, I will keep you in mind. I just look though your photos, and I Have to say . You have done some amazing work.

That doesn't sound inexpensive to me. Unless something has drastically changed, nice mammoth scales were being offered by "Fine Turnage Productions" for reasonable prices. www.fineturnage.com is the website. Select Mammoth Scales from the top menu, then select "buy now" and you can view the selection. I have no connection to the business other than being a customer.

They were setting up at local shows (NCCA) in CT and MA and had some NICE materials for reasonable prices.

Good Luck,
Peter
