I have bought some Mammoth Ivory scales (haven't got them yet) and was wondering which type of pins you guys with some experience with this type of material would reccomend. Stainess or nickel silver?

I sure can't see that it matters. I almost always use stainless for everything these days but it's possible that NS pins might complement the color of the ivory nicely.
