Mammoth Tooth Alpha Dorado 271MTSSH - Anyone familiar with it?

Is this the appropriate forum to ask what one woukd be worth? Been told they sold for $300, but what is one worth now?

I was waiting for someone else to respond as I have very little information to offer. The Mammoth Tooth Alpha Dorado was a limited edition of 100 knives made for Shepherd Hills Cutlery in 2007. As a special project it does not appear in the Buck general catalog. Information is elusive, I could not even find a picture, let alone a prior sale to judge by. The best I can do is offer up a possible comparable. The year before in 2006 Buck made a Mammoth Tooth 296 Tempest and the MSRP on that one was $320. Keep in mind that dealer cost was 50% of MSRP. A knife dealer I run into at local shows has a Mammoth Tooth Tempest and the asking price was $300 or $350. I don't know if he still has it but I saw it in his case for several years. HTH /Roger

Thanks very much for the info. I was watching one (elsewhere) the gent wanted $300 for with all the fixings. Looks nice, but was concerned when I could not google anything about it.
