Here's my latest hunter, it has some really nice and unusual dark mammoth tooth in the handle, musk ox horn spacers and mokume furnishings. The blade is 15N20 and 1095, about 4 1/2 inches long, 9 inches overall. I started engraving my mark with a pantograph instead of the etcher I used to use. There are advantages and disadvantages to all marking systems but I do like this better than etching. I think it's a little classier.

Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think

I always look forward to a new post from you Mark because I know my eyes will be in for a visual treat rich in colors and texures. This piece is of course one of those visual feasts, and every bit as beautiful as I knew it would be!

Never cared much for musk ox horn but it goes so well against that beautiful mammoth tooth.
Great looking knife/sheath package. Very nice touch with the mammoth tooth sheath inlay!

you're obviously a man who is infatuated with materials- your love shows!

In Art & Design School there is class lesson where they teach 'Less is More'.

....Mark skipped school that day, and we're ever-thankful. :p

I could not capture his mark properly on the core image, but we wanted to show you the new look. Very classy.

Thanks!

Nice one Mark. I really like your new sig line. It is much classier and is why I went to the panto a few years ago.

Nice work, Mark! The unique mammoth tooth is really accentuated by the musk ox. Your knives are always impressive.
