Another slip joint for the Spirit of the Blade show coming up at the beginning of March in Troy Ohio.
This ones a bit bigger than my normal, also a bit more of an aggressive look.
Let me know what you think of this style.
The blade and back spine are 154CPM while the double integral bolsters and body are 416 stainless.
The knife features the Dellana Dot grip system and the slabs are slices of puck from Scott Bulpitt at House of Mammoth. Shameless plug for a good supplier.
Thanks for looking
Steve

Very nice knife. I love the mammoth tusk, turned out very nicely. The dellana dots accent it very nicely. I also like the swedge.

I do think the sharpening choil is a bit too deep. I also thing the blade is sitting a little too proudly when the blade is closed.

Thanks for your reply.
The blade sitting proud is due to the belly in the blade.
In order to drop it further into the body I would need to reduce the belly which I don't want to do.
Thanks
Steve

I love everything about it except that the choil looks a bit large to me as well

Could you have kept the belly but made it less proud by keeping a different line on the back? Maybe one the follows the grind? (You'd have to move the dellana dots a bit, though).
