Man Bites Snake

I was just tellin y'all about my Bro living at 40 Plum out where there is all kinds of wildlife in another thread just the other day.
The latest thing Bro has been having trouble with is Snattlerakes, er Rattlesnakes.
Bro's wife likes to feed the birds and there's a multitude of different species of birds now hanging around their place. With the birds come the snakes for easy pickin's.

Now Bro has several khukuris as well as some other very impressive pointy and sharp edged instruments but he wanted something just a little bit longer to take care of the Snattle, er Rattlesnakes with.:thumbup:
So to solve the problem of getting too close too his new task he ordered a Halberd, a medival weapon with a long shaft and one helluva blade.
In Bro's own words... "Bro- the halberd is about 6'8" tall and works like a charm."
Oh yeah, Bro told me the blade is about 20" long.

I knew an old boy who lived in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mtns. in California. He had a wife and three kids, a small stream, plenty of grass, and lots of rattlers on them place. His solution? He drove home at night and saw lots of snakes on the road. He'd stop and bag all the non-poisonous types and free them around the house. Pretty soon, he had no rattler problem. Then he lightened up on his program. Probably rough on the rodents.

Now where does one get a Halberd these days. They look like they'd be useful for the rattlesnakes I often come across in Atlanta traffic.
