I'm in complete agreement. I'm still finding things out, but the things that ARE working are so improved:
Legibility in reading (line spacing is larger. WALLOFTEXTS can actually be read if you try.)
Reduced size quoting
LARGE photo hosting and sizing (2mb! in Bladeforums.com)

Improved handling of PM's (DM's)
Likes on a post or thread (if that matters, but, hey!)
Top to bottom arrows to navigate quickly
