Wow, it was a GOOD day 
I checked the mail this morning and Buck 880SP I'd bought from a gentleman here on the forums had arrived. Holy cow what a huge honking folder! I love it - makes me wonder what a REAL Strider is like... This is the new version with the ambi thumbstuds, and for all the complaints about the original G10 being rough and poorly finished, this one is PERFECT. Just the right amount of grippiness and very nicely finished. Blade action is smooth enough to open with a flick of the wrist and lockup is solid, although the lock bar engages farther over than I like - pet peeve about linerlocks.
Then at lunch, I found a smokin' deal I couldn't pass up on an HK USP40 with two preban high-caps... OK, it's only money...
Suffice to say it was a fun afternoon!
