Man, I've just bought a dvd set and preordered a dvd

I haven't spent that much money on movies this year, but in the past few days I bought the dvd set of the War of the Worlds tv show, and just now bought the Firefly dvd set and preordered Serenity. I hope it was worth it...

Firefly was awesome, though I'm sad that they just canceled it instead of allowing them to finish out the season. Because it just kind of leaves you hanging there. Some parts were sort of cheesey but overall, I really liked it.

When does Serenity come out anyway?

December 20th is the release date from Amazon. I heard that the SCI FI channel was picking up Firefly for a new season. That was of course before Serenity just broke even at the movie theater. Hope it happens...

Hard for a movie to do good if no one knows much about it, the case with Serenity, maybe it will stream roll in the DVD and pick up fans.

Of course the original Star Trek was canceled and the 1st movie brought it back to life. So who knows!
