Just got my new RC5 today and Special Ops sheath. For one of very few times I was almost speechless. However, it does answer one age old question I have always had growing up in Oklahoma. Where do old tractors go? HELL they go to the shop for RAT Cutlery :) These things seem like picking up a piece of a 1940 John Deere tractor. I mean the weight alone tells you this isn't a toy. But the feel, grip, everything just screams... use me HARD!!!

I have an Izula, RC4, and RC3 headed this way as well. I can't wait to get these things out for some use. I can see now why the RAT'ers as so passionate about their gear. I am also extremely please that these are made in the USA. Just goes to show how great of products we can make here when given the chance.
 
Mine came last thursday, and I havent stopped playing with it yet. The knife that is (just in case any perverts get the wrong idea). I took it for a day hike, and I never even noticed the weight on my belt. I got the eagle sheath-kind of wishing that I got the other one though. Oh well, only $35.00 on RAT's website. Great knife, I agree
 
I love mine too. Just used it again today. I know what you mean about the feel. It is heavy, but it feels so right and balanced. Warning.. do not hold unless you have some extra money to spend on buying this knife. U will want it.
 
i'm going to have to get one. with the rat pack kit. if i have any extra after i spend my tax return...
 
I have the RC 5 and the eagle sheath also. I like the Eagle sheath more, but that is only personal opinion, I suppose.

If you can give me till tomorrow. Camera is on the Fritz so I just bought a new one that is suppose to be here tomorrow. :) Of course you'll have to give me a little time charge battery, figure out how to work it and then snap away I will. If my RC3 and RC4 or Izula is in I will throw those in for good measure.
 
The RC-5 was my first RAT knife also and it's still one of my favorties. It's totally built like a tank and feels like it also. It's one great blade!
 
RATs are users and you know it! :D

Even the Izula can endure some very hard handling.

My new camera is delayed until tomorrow. I could use mu iPhone but then everyone would be gripping about quality of the pics so a lost cause I think.

So hopefully tomorrow I can get some shots outside if the weather here permits. I hope to also get some of the other RAT's in today and tomorrow to add to the shoot.

If only I had some models...... Bikini-n-Blade calendar. WOW Bar Rafaeli on a Tahiti beach getting ready to take on a shark with her RC-5. I can see it now. Angelina Jolie with a nice Izula with leg sheath, Megan Fox with her RC-3..... If you'll excuse me...... :D

Just take a few pictures with the i-crack. We won't give you too much crap if we know we're going to get some good quality pics later, but the amount of hassle you'll get for promising pics and delivering nothing at all is much worse. Better to tide us over with some poor quality pics. Get to it.
 
We will forgive you for the crappy phone pics.... just post them....all we care about is the knife...:D
 
I showed a good friend of mine my RC4 and HEST and he was immediately addicted. If I would have showed him the others he prolly never would have left.
 
I love my RC 5 also. It is a very Solid knife. I need to have a chance to go out and use mine more though it is still new looking lol.
 
Yeah the RC-5 is an awesome knife I took it on a camping trip to catalina island and did everything with it. At first I didn't like the eagle sheath but now I love it that thing is awesome
 
I am considering an RC-5 myself. Fantastic looking knife!

Waiting to see what the Junglas comes out for.
