Looks good. How does it carry? Thinking of pickin one up to use on short hikes with my 4 year old. My big pack is a little much for a 2 mile hike around the lake.

I find it ok. I can carry it for a while. It carrys well, I just think they could do more to make it more comfortable. They have many variants, so you may want to find the one that works best for you.

Looks like a Fatboy Jumbo to me.

Be careful you don't lose that folder, there is always some sorry sumbitch like me scanning the ground for loose change and pocketknives. :D

The first and mainstay manly "murse" is a claymore bag :D

Actually those maxpedition sling bags look nice, a bit awkward maybe, I wonder why sling bags, and not lumbar packs. Nice packs though.

Hard to tell in this photo, but i have a man purse on.

it is a Maxpedition Mongo.

There are two knives one on it, and one in it. Busse SS, and a Basic 11

you can see the first 1/4 of the climb here.

Looking back down. That is part of the parking lot at the bottom.

Some great attachment points.

This is actually the handle of a knife with an 11.5 inch blade. It is in a sheath, and the sheath is actually attached to the bag, by hook and loop wrap in the loop lined pouch.

Just big enough to fit most the important stuff. Glock, and 3 spare mags in one pocket, water and stuff. Another pocket with another holster for the .357 and triple mag holder, or speed loader holder.

One great feature, is that it has a thinner waste belt. you can put it on and cinch it down to keep it where you want it. I also ride my mountain bike with it on, and do wheelies etc without it bouncing around etc.

Duuuuuude. Glock AND .357 at the same time in one bag?!

I'd buy both carried in separate locations. Always good to have a BUG. But in the same bag seems redundant, and/or defeating the purpose.

Orrrr... I could be wrong, and just envious. ;)

been thinking about getting a bag like this for short hikes but I don't really care for sling bags does anyone know of a similar sized lumbar pack
