I joined up recently and have had a chance to spend some time reading through a lot of conversations. I have found the following things that make this forum top-notch:
1. yall love kershaw knives and you know a ton about them
2. people are helpful and also like to give each other a hard time
3. holy cow! yall give away knives every once in a while!

Anyhow, those are just a few of the reasons I like this place. The whole "here's a sweet knife to add to your collection" says a lot about the people here. Thanks for all the help on my previous thread! :D

A great bunch of guys here. I was a member of this forum in '99
but certain things happened in my life and I didn't start collecting
again until last year. (no i didn't go to prison)

These guys took me right in and never looked back.
I'm made some great online friends here and it looks like many more to come.
They'll be here to answer any questions or concerns you have, usually
even if it's not Kershaw related.

Yeah, Wagdog, some people take longer to heal up after those "special" medical procedures!;) Let's just say beginning a new life as a new "person" can be difficult.

jm44, be nice. Just because mike was Siamese twins before his "surgery" is no reason to go poking at him. There are plenty of other things you can poke at. We're lucky to have him. But I am surprised that he hasn't changed his name to 4brothers!
 
Welcome to the forums, Wagdog. You are correct about your assessment of most of the people in this forum, friendly, willing to offer help and advice, and yes knife giveaways as well. You'll also be pleasantly surprised when you discover who some of these people are and where they work. The amount of knowledge that some members have in here and are willing to share is truly amazing- even from the shorter ones that wear stiletto heels. :)

mike, I was looking at the Jimmy Choos today, trying to decide what style to get. Have you tried the open toe ones with the high ankle strap? They are ,like, soooooo cool! And what color matches the JYD the best?

I take everything seriously, so I'm assuming you don't know...upper right corner of the post window shows a tally under the Join Date and Location Info...

In all honesty that post was a funny way to see it and also increase it by one :D

I actually thought I might not have the 50 required but it appears I have underestimated the time I spend here by about 300% hehe.

No apology necessary, my post wasn't very clear.
