Anyone ever watch this show? Just watched it for the first time.It was kinda funny, two city kids go into the wilderness and a tracker on his horse has to go get them. The tracker caught up to them right off the bat, then they evaded him for a little while. But he tracked them down and got them. Seems like a fun thing to try!

The name is actually "Mantracker". I just watched it too. I like the show. I think it's entertaining but the two guys they had as prey on today were the worse I've ever seen on the show.

the episode with the SAS guy and the Czech special forces op was really fun to watch.

great show. in canada its on OLN (outdoor life network). try a google search to see if you can watch online.

and the one with the marine sniper that kept crawling around in a ghillie suit, oblivious to the fact that he was folding down grass leaving a perfect trail towards himself.

i doubt he was really a sniper. probably just a admin guy claiming to be a sniper. any real sniper would not have been so oblivious. they are pretty well trained.

some of those people are pretty nutty though. there was the one dude who was a "professional" hunter carrying what looked like a k5 tactical tomahawk. thats great and all but he just gave up half way through.

Yeah. Just because someone wins a bunch of ebay auctions at the last second doesn't make them a certified marksman.

;)

Sounds like a cool show.

dont get me wrong i like the show. i enjoyed the one with the two women one of whom was a fitness competition chic. whoa momma a hot fit chic with wilderness skills. i like how the guide manhunter got was a fugitive who lived off the land for 10 years hehe. good show.

I have never seen the show, but Marcelo was talking about last week.

Does the camera crew follow the 2 guys running? If so, wouldn,t that make it allot easier for the tracker.....

I've seen a few. I'd rate it above average, yet not the best ever. They remain very evasive on the technicalities. And the "hunter" starts too close to the "prey", and they keep pretty close during the whole hunt, with plenty of silly close range escapes.

To be honest I did prefer the "Catching Chris Ryan", while I did expect it to be artificially spectacular, there was actually plenty of information, mostly military stuff but a fair bit appliable in a general wilderness context.

I was thinking the same thing because there is at least one person following them and filming .

I can say for a fact that that guy couldn't have been a U.S.M.C. Sniper. When I went through the school you got rated down for disturbing dirt, leaving even the faintest mark.

We regularly went out in the field and practiced movement with other scout/snipers hunting us. Such a mistake would have never been tolerated.

Last night was the first time I had watched it. It was kind of cool. I didn't even think about the camera men... haha, I did however see one of the camera men running behind the two guys though.
On any of the shows has anyone made it through to the end? The two guys last night were disrespectful little punks! They kept saying how they hate hicks. They were pretty trashy guys. One was really fat, and kept wanting to give up. They started off and couldn't believe how hard it was to evade the manhunter... Street smarts doesn't pay off in the wilderness.
