Hello Friends,

I was. Leaning up my Manix2 and I seem to have broken the plastic piece that the ball lock sits in. Any idea if Spyderco sells parts? I love the knife and I'd hate to toss it if it can be fixed. Thanks in advan e for your help.

Cheers,

Jeremy

I don't think so, but I'd call Spyderco. The Manix is made in Golden, so you probably have a good chance. I'm having trouble contacting the warranty department myself though. If you do get through, would you mind telling me when you called? And what time zone you're in.

Since you have to take it apart to fix the part they will probably tell you to send it in to be fixed. I have read that others had problems getting it back together once disassembled.

Do not take it apart. You'll void your warranty, and that'd be stupid given that you have a warranty issue at the moment.

Don't take it apart and contact the warranty department at Spyderco. You will have to send the knife in, but you will get it back all fixed up. You might even get a whole new knife back.

If the cage broke without you attempting to disassemble the knife, it should be covered under warranty. Just follow the instructions HERE and send it in to Spyderco. If it broke when you took the knife apart, call SFO (Spyderco's online sales) and see if they can sell/send you a new cage.
