i ordered a partial serrated manix 2 recently and it has the number 015v next the spydie logo on tthe blade.is this a club member knife? if so is it more valuable and should be kept in the safe? thanks for any info.

Yeah that is for the collectors club. It is really not more valuable than a non-numbered one. You could sell it to a person that is collecting that particular number for a higher price - possibly. But,if I were you, I would use it.

Well, I'd assume the only reason it was sold to gp35 was that the collector who owns that number did not want it. Aside from that, you're basically correct, it adds no real value to the knife. It does, however, have one practical use, which at least some will consider a plus. It acts as a de facto serial number, so it can help establish ownership if the knife is ever lost or stolen.
