Manix 2 cpm 110v a sprint?

It is a production knife that is in somewhat short supply. Patience! Place an order with a distributor and wait your turn, it will come eventually.

If they market it like the PM2 then it may be darn near impossible to score one for some people...

Just as the PM2 regular production models were in short supply for some time due to high demand, the Manix 2 LW S110V is hard to come by currently. I got mine from KW when they first arrived. Hopefully the shortage won't last as long as it did with the PM2.

Production schedules and expansion both take time. I'm on the waiting list for the Manix2 as well. I have a few other knives to tide me over until then.

I'm waiting on one form KW. It's been about a month already. Not really sure if this one will be able to kick the PM2 out of my pocket, but I figured I had to give it a try, it just seems to fulfill so many of my EDC preferences: HD lock, lightweight, great steel, discrete carry, FFG...

I snagged one off here too, was re-profiled to 15 degrees I think....It is a super slicer...getting more and more pocket time. Awesome knife and very lightweight ....displacing my Benchmade 531 in rotation.

I had to get mine from the spyderco outlet store, and it was the last one they had (shelf model). So I took it for 10% off.

Is it kind of like the XL where it seems that they're made in spurts because they sell so fast?
I think that all of the knives are made in batches. In the case of really popular models that sell out immediately we notice that supply isn't keeping up with demand.
The less insanely popular knives are more likely to stay in stock until the next batch is completed.

Long story short, it's not a sprint run, but you may need to wait a while before more become available.
It's a fantastic bargain and a lot of knife fans recognize that.
