Manix 2 DLC rarity question

I just got one in today and I was wondering before I sharpen and carry it, would be a candidate to collect and return on my investment? The knife does show a little tiny bit of wear and doesn't have a box, so would it be a waste of a knife to not use it?

I am digging the knife and coating. The sharp edges that were on my plain Manix 2 are gone with the coating and I like the knife, but I am just unsure about using it.

Note that I AM NOT interested in selling, nor am I trying some terrible backwards attempt of it. It's my knife so back off, vultures. I am just wanting to know if this is some kind of a collectors item or a lot of them were made and it won't be collectable for a good while.

Feel free to use it as the readily available and not any kind of limited edition.

I agree with the guys above. use it and enjoy. Probably not a good prospect for an investment.

Yup a little more research showed nothing about them being limited or rare. Looks like I have an awesome new user. I especially like how the DLC coating seems to have cut down on the sharp edges present on the normal models.

BTW, I really like the Manix line. I have the Manix 2 Translucent Blue & the Manix 2 XL. They are both good knives with absolutely great ergonomics. Very nice slicers. I think you're going to enjoy using the knife. ;)
