Recommendation? Manix 2 Lightweight Salt - worth the wait?

I've been looking for a new all-around EDC and have decided on the Manix 2 lightweight. I really like the salt because I'm intrigued by the magnacut steel, but I've also noticed that it's out of stock everywhere.

My first question is if there is any information on when this knife will start shipping again?

For those of you who've used the Manix 2 Salt with the CPM-MagnaCut- is it worth the wait, or should I just grab a Manix 2 lightweight with another steel like CPM-SPY27?

Well, it's available on ebay right now. There are some authorized spyderco dealers on that site, you just have to read the item description and see, before purchasing

The 15V steel version is dropping now.
Not the worst knife you could buy.

Indeed it is. Since he likes the Manix2 LW and has already bought the salt version, I was pointing out a complimentary steel that is currently available for a limited time and at a reasonable price. One is none and two is one.
