I contacted the seller for an exchange already.
Hope I don’t sound or reflect as a weirdo snob.

Any how the lock doesn’t seem to extend all the way up. It’s kinda bugging me and this one feels different.

Am I being picky ? Or has this happened to anyone else and it smooths out?

It’s the one in the middle

I thought the lock wasn’t supposed to go all the way up.
There is a small gap on the manix just very small, a mm ?

Idk if an early lock up is good or not, just feels different and looks different to me.
Maybe I am being a weird knife snob ?

Do the others show that bit of exposed steel when you pull them down like the middle one does?

For what it's worth, I've got the same Knifeworks Manix and it looks the same as yours. It's my 1st G10 Manix, and the lock looks the same as my LW Manix. The bit of steel showing in front of the thumb tab is the back of the blade.

The G10 version feels different than the FRN version, though The G10 action just feels a little smoother, and there's is an extra little click right when I start to open the knife. I think the extra weight of the liners and G10 absorb some of the impact of snapping the blade closed.

Thank you .
Appreciate your pics, looks like mine does.
I suppose im expecting it to be like my 5 year old one.

Suppose I need to take a breath and not worry about it.

All of mine look closer to your KW Manix, no matter the age. My favorite Spyderco which is why I have too many. I skipped the KW even though it has the best G10 color on any Spyderco, IMO.

Thank you.
I’m keeping this Manix, I agree with you the color is is hard to beat.

This platform is on my top 4 that I regularly carry.
The red one was my first Spyderco.
Crazy how fast that grew.

The Manix is highly underrated, by the masses.
Years back I decided I didn't need the same model in different steels.
So what I did was, each different model had a different steel. No duplicate models or steels.

Well, I have 3x Manix 2's in different steels, that are in my EDC rotation. Lol.
As well as a couple C95 lock blade Manix.
And probably a couple in boxes. (of each)

Completely agree .
It feels solid without being heavy, fits my hand perfectly. Just a really well made edc knife.

I’m feeling like my knife addiction is reaching its limits. But I would be really interested in a c95 run, every one that has/had one sings its praises.

Nothing like a C95! Hand fitment, thwack, when locks thank,, thickness of blade, etc
