Manix 2 loose lanyard tube

Hi All, I recently picked up a knife I've been after for awhile, a Manix 2 sprint in CTS-XHP. The only issue is that upon receiving the knife the scales were making a clicking sound, and I noticed the lanyard hole tube was loose, allowing the scales and liners to move around a bit. Anyone on here ever had that issue before, and if so is it something Spyderco will fix if it is sent in? I don't mind paying for the repair; I love the knife want to keep it.
 
Take a tapered punch and tap the lanyard tube to flare it out a bit, I did that to my K2 to stop the rattle.
