Manix 2 LW Spy27 color variation

I'm trying to confirm my findings, that Spyderco has made 2 different colors in Spy27 and both are possibly identified as Mineral Blue.
There seems to be confusion over this. From what I can gather, the original is more of what I would call "baby blue", but the newer one looks "teal". I have the teal one but I keep seeing this totally different color out there in older reviews, and both in Spy27. (I like the baby blue so much better)
Anyone have actual facts regarding this, better yet a side by side photo to prove I'm not crazy?
The most I can find on the subject is a dealers page that described a change in color for newer ones but didn't go into detail.
(Ok just occurred to me I should inquire with them lol but since I got this far I'll leave this here)

I can't even find a Spyderco sub forum. I guess this is NOT idiot proof or old uneducated man friendly :)
 
If a moderator can delete this whole thread, that's great. This got derailed into the wrong discussion about forums lol. I'll just call Spyderco. Thanks
 
Spyderco was originally going to make it in Cobalt Blue like the Para 3 Lightweight and Native 5 Lightweight. Unfortunately they were having issues matching the color in FRCP and had to change the color to Mineral Blue.

knife_fan knife_fan so that explanation makes sense of what I read on a dealer site about two different colors.

I just confirmed with Spyderco that the Spy27 was only produced in one color.
So I'm disappointed because I love the baby blue color that appears in pictures, but apparently it's the very same one as my teal which I don't like at all. Go figure.
