manix 2 m4 sprint again?

Will there ever be any more m4 manix 2s made, after trying many other knives for work I keep going back to the manix and wishing it was m4 and ffg

I can't even find a user for sale (don't want to spend the higher price for one I'm going to use the crap out of lol)
 
I passed on the BB M4 sprint as I thought the price the dealer charged was a little steep.I thought wrong.I see them on the Exchange now and then....
 
I inquired with BB and they said that they will not commission another run.

Spyderco would have to make a different sprint or exclusive with M4 for it to happen. Dark grey G10 anyone? Hehe actually I think M4 should be a standard steel in the Spyderco line.

I lucked out and picked up a light user cheap and it is one of my favorites. I think another run in a different color would be a big hit. If I remember correclty the party I purchased mine from didn't like the tan G10 and that was a major factor in it ending up on his catch & release list. Personally I like the tan G10.

Have you seen the other thread that sal mentions he is testing a production sample s110v manix?

It's the light weight version but that's the best manix IMO :)

With the recent XL s90v and the LW s110v a m390 wouldn't surprise me.. Spyderco is the king of options

Why not email or call the folks that commissioned the run and ask them? It would be nice to get an answer straight from the horses mouth, right? ;)
