Manix 2 Or Delica 4?

I'm looking at getting a Manix 2 or a Delica 4 and am torn on which one to choose. I have the money for either one but not both (though if i did have the money for both i would get both). I've seen great reviews on both of them and know they are thought quite well of in the knife community. I would be getting a plain edge FFG delica4 or a dusk blue plain edged Manix 2. I like the slim profile of the delica but the Manix 2 just looks awesome and has an awesome if not better steel, just looking for opinions, also open to suggestions of other knives in that price range (max price is $100)

Gotta go with the one that makes you smile the most, but the Manix 2 is definitely my favorite Spyderco - particularly in S30V at that price.
 
I strongly prefer the size, ergos, and lock of the Manix 2 to the delica, though it may be more knife than you really need depending on your EDC tasks. You can currently pick up a sprint run of the Manix 2 lightweight in S110V for around $100-110, which is a spectacular value. If you want to go cheaper, both the Manix 2 LW and the G10 model are great knives. I had the BD-1 lightweight, and while I loved the handle and design I was not pleased with the edge retention of the steel. I ended up selling it. If I was to choose between the two again, I would go with the G10 model.
 
My preference is for the Manix as it feels a bit more substantial in hand and I prefer its lock over the mid-lock on the Delica, which I find tough to operate one handed.

You are right that the Delica is a bit thinner and lighter, if you prefer a lighter blade in pocket that might be a deciding factor.

2 great knives, you won't go wrong either way.
 
They are both great, big difference in knives. The manix is more fun to flick and play around with. The delica carries better in the pocket.
 
Sorry to ask so many questions, but do you know where i could get the S30V or S110V versions from retailers? Or if you could point me to a reputable person on the forums selling them, I'm a bit wary of dealing with people on the exchange that i don't know about even though I've never used it

I felt this way also, but lately I have bought and sold a few items on blade forums with zero problems. Take it in stride, stick with what your comfortable with.

Both KnifeCenter and KnifeWorks are saying it's a preorder? But the knife already went through it's run right...?
 
Both the Manix 2 and Delica 4 are excellent knives. I think one of the best values right now is the Manix 2 LW in S110V (if you can find one), so I would go for that followed by a Delica ZDP or Delica Super Blue (if you can find one). The Manix LW S110V was not a sprint or LE run so there will be more coming.
 
Ah thank you Brisket, some sites say sprint run, will sign up for BladeHQ stock emails then :D
