manix 2 question?

Ok,
I somehow during my collecting,tradeing,etc. wound up with 2 manix 2 knives.
there both black,pretty much identical for one small thing i see.
the spine on one looks metal,and the other looks like gray something???

Anyway,I have both boxes and somehow got them possibly mixed up.
How can i be sure I have the correct knife,in correct box?

How are the boxes different from each other?

The one with the shiny spine should be the newer one.

the only diffrence i see is the bottom right corners.
