Hey guys I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a blurple manix 2 s100v g10. They don't have them at store around where I live so I don't get to handle one first. I have handled the regulare s30v g10 and love how solid the knife feels with the steel liners. It feels like a tank. Its just a little heavir then I would like. I understand the blurple versions have skeletonized liners making them almost an ounce lighter putting the knife in the range that I can carry without feeling the weight to much. My question is does the blurple s110v with the skeletonized liners feel as solid as the full liner s30v? I would love to drop the weight but don't want to love the rigidity. Thanks for any help.

I have a Manix in frn which is awesome, so I imagine the g10 version would be just great.

Since it is not a completely open back design the knife is inherently very rigid. The lock makes the whole thing very rigid. The skeletonized version will be great. I have the Cruwear sprint which is skeletonized and it is a very sturdy knife. Pull the trigger. You wont be disappointed.

Do you have a full liner manix to compare it too? I know its sturdy but I'm curious if it feels as sturdy as the regular?

Not at the moment but I used to. I have never felt either one flex in any way. I think the only benefit of not skeletonizing the liners is cost savings.

From personal experience I am not so sure about this - I played a bit with the LW version and it feels bendy... so I ordered the G10 version.

Besides - I feel more relaxed when I know I have steel in the handle.

I have both, no discernable difference, except the Sabre ground solid liner is an anchor, and the blurple melts in your hand.

I have the blurple version. I've compared it to the regular, full liner s30v and I can't feel a difference in solidity. The skeletonized liners are absolutely rock solid.
The weight difference is what drove me to the blurple, not the steel. And I'm glad I went with it. Very comfortable to carry, while being a big upgrade in materials over the frn.

Hi Zagorov, we are talking about the g10 with full liners vs. the g10 with skeletonized liners. The LW model does indeed feel different from either of those.
