Have anyone got a recent vanilla version of G10 S30V Manix 2(Spyderco still make non-exclusive knives right), do they now come with skeletonized liner like the blurple S110V or exclusives version?

Historically the "normal" version always comes with solid liner. So just wondering as I'm planning on getting a normal version as edc beater.

Thank you.

I am not certain, but I believe they are still non-skeletonized. I would have a plain Manix 2 if it weren't for that added weight. I'll just have to stick with sprints/exclusives for now (I'm not an S110V fan).

One person on the Spyderco forum posted that they recently bought a g10 s30v manix2 and it had 1 full liner and 1 skeletonized liner. Weird.

This is actually the main reason i haven't got a vanilla S30V version as well. It's the extra weight and more importantly the balance. It's too handle heavy, and it's an important thing to me. I used to have the 154CM hollow grind version, full liner suits it because it has a much heavier blade.
I was hoping to get a S30V version as beater and prefer a tougher steel than that. Was hoping they CQI-ed it.

This was what prompted me to ask here(don't have an account at Spyderco forums). I was hoping they'll start rolling these out with skeletonized liners and wanted to see if anyone has got similar one. I would think that it could help streamline the production, by not having different parts for different models.
This is one of the Spyderco mysteries i never understood. Unless there's a bunch of solid M2 liners that's still sitting around and we have to wait till they run out first.
