Opened up my Manix 2 Salt in Magnacut the other day and was shocked to see a ceramic ball! Anyone know if they have made the switch? Honestly was wondering if somebody got the knife, swapped the ball, and returned the knife for whatever reason...then I got it.

No problem, people have been wanting it for quite a while. It looks like at least the M2 Salt has it.

I had no problem and prefer it, but it is new to Spyderco as far as I know. That's why I was verifying...the newness.

My Manix Salt is really smooth out of the box. When I took it apart to clean fish guts out of it, I noticed the ceramic ball was black. I’ve ordered 3/16” BBs before to put in my other Manix knives, but I ordered the white Al oxide ones. No difference in smoothness to me.
