They were worth selling for sure, if you weren't going to use them. I think the thread was quiet because part of the rules here, is we are not allowed discussing values on stuff. Mainly because you could get hussled(example:"hey RV they are worth $10", then I buy them for $10 and you got screwed.)
You sold them for a great price though and made someone's day, and made some cash, so that's worth it alone.
Usually my process for selling is check other for sale postings(preferably the ones that sold already and have prices up still), or look at the price of it new and deduct some. Too many variables to have a set system for everything. But when I sale scales, I can go to let's say blade hq and see pm2 scales are $xx.xx. Most likely nobody wants my used scales for the same price, so I knock it down some. Pretty much ask yourself, would I buy this for this much if I was in the market for it.
A quote I always liked goes something like 'a good deal is when both sides feel like they lost something, or both sides feel like they gained something'.
