I bought a Cru-carta Manix 2 the other day I tried a couple of other Manix 2s while I was at the store. The crucarta lock button was stiffer than the others by a wide margin. I told the salesperson that I liked the cru-carta but not that specific one due to the lock being stiff, and it clicks when opening way before locking. It was the only one in stock so I bought it. Question is will it loosen up over time? maybe the screws are too tight? maybe some lubrication?

I have no problem with the locks on manix 2 .
Personally I would just keep fiddling around with with it.
You can buy aftermarket springs or clip the spring, I haven’t found that necessary.

The click is normal, don’t worry about that.
All of mine click it’s just how the lock functions:)

i had one that made a click sound while opening. I think it’s just the spring and ball moving.
I would leave it unadjusted for a bit. Let the knife break in. If it stays tight then adjust the pivot screw.
