Just got a manix 2 combo edge in translucent blue yesterday. I am loving it. This was my first experience with the ball bearing lock and I must say I am very pleased with its operation. I was afraid I wouldn't like it as all my spydies have been back locks or framelocks. What I would like to know is have any of you had any problems or issues that I should be aware of with this knife? I do not abuse or hard use my knives. Just wondering if there are any things not to do with it. Thx.

The ball bearing lock is tough. More so than a framelock or lockback. Use away with no worries, it is a great lock!

Thanks. I edc an old ss harpy for most everything. Sometimes you just need a plain edge though. Gonna carry this a few weeks and see if it keeps its place in the pocket or goes in the rotation of back up.

My bro chopped through a tree maybe 3-4" round with his manix a few years ago, and there were zero malfunctions during. The blade stayed centered and rock solid.
