Got my orange aluminum scales for one of my Manix 2's today. John Grimsmo hand delivered them himself. Sorry John for kicking you out of my house so fast but work was calling :o

He did an excellent job with these. They fit perfectly onto the Manix 2 like they came from the factory. I didn't show a pic, but they are hollowed out a bit on the inside. They weigh about 28 grams (1oz). The G10 scales weigh 26 grams so pretty much the same weight. They have a slight texture but on the Manix 2 with the jimping and the shape of the handle I'm not worried about it being too slippery. I have taken apart one of my Manix's once before but putting on these scales does not require one to completely disassemble the knife. It is a very simple procedure to change them out. You just need a T9 and T10 torx screwdrivers. Even before I got them I knew they had to go on my all black Manix 2.

There's also a couple of screws included, but one is only needed. It goes on the opposite side of the clip.

In comparison with the orange G10 Manix 2.

They look great with the all black hardware.

Very cool. John emailed me an invitation link last month to order some scales. I don't have a spare Manix 2 or else I would have. Thanks for sharing!

Damn, those look much better when fitted on the knife. I got a pair on order too. Can't wait :)

Those are damn nice. Not a fan of orange, but if I got a pair of those (when I eventually do get a Manix), I would start liking the color.

That looks awesome dude. I'd love to see an aluminum lock release. The plastic one just doesn't quite cut it for me.

Wow very cool, been watching his youtube channel and I know hes been selling some through BladeHQ's website, he does an outstanding job
