Manix 2 XL CF S90V replaced my beloved Millie

I got my Knifeworks Manix 2 XL in S90V in today. All I can say is "WOW"!! This thing is neat. Out of the box it is quite a bit bigger than I expected. It is everything the Manix 2 is but bigger and better. I put it on my Lansky and re-profiled it. Holy smokes, even with the extra coarse diamond stones it took me over an hour to re profile it to 20*. This S90 V is incredibly abrasion resistant steel!! This thing is almost 4" of FFG slicing pleasure. I can't believe something like this in this steel is factory made for $219.00. This knife absolutely reaches mid-tech levels at a reasonable price. I was push cutting my normal 3/4" rope. Push cutting!!! More review to follow, I just got it tonight.

For now it has unseated the champion M390 Millie I was carrying. We will see.

I've had mine for almost 2 weeks now and I put it in my pocket to go to work and before I can make it out of the house with it I will grab something else instead. It's just a little to wide. Might try to trade it for a regular model. I think it would be a better size for me.

I agree. Mine is just too big and sticks out of pocket too much. The clip placement isn't perfect. But it feels oh so perfect in the hand!!
