What year did Spyderco switch from the clear cage to the black cage on the Manix 2XL? Was it 9-10 years ago?

I'm trying to date my trusty pocket knife that's been my main edc since I've bought it.

I remember them coming out and they had a clear cage. When I got around to picking one up it had the black cage and skeletonized liners.

Any help would be appreciated. Once it gets daylight tomorrow morning I'll try to snap some pics of the stamps.
