after reading quite alot about it on here and asking a few questions, I ordered the manix 2 last week and it showed up yesterday......it is my 2nd spyderco (I got a Tenacious a couple months ago) and all I have to say is...wow...how long has THIS been going on?????

I am so impressed with this knife.....picked it up NIB for $70 plus shipping off ebay

I know, right? Amazing knife in any of the configurations. Really shows off what Spyderco can do.

I cant help but be biased towards stuff that is made here. Love US made stuff. wish I could buy everything made here

I've decided to only purchase USA made knives now.

I know that limits me from experiencing a lot of great knives, but heck, who can afford to buy every new knife that comes out anyways?

It's my way of keeping my spending in check.

i hear that, i only like to buy American knives. and the manix 2 looks like a great knife, congrats.

ok....you are only feeding my addiction here and making things worse...haha.....which models are those two?...(sorry, like I said...I'm relatively new to Spyderco) although after these first two that I bought with more of the "stout" type blade design (Manix 2 and Tenacious) I have been looking at something with a slenderer (if thats a word?) design.....kinda like that Byrd Cara Cara?...also, I am loving this G-10 grip material for both feel and looks, so I plan on limiting myself to knives that come with the G-10

i think the larger one is the military in camo G10 and the smaller one is the paramilitary in camo G10 also. I am waiting for my manix 2 in our neck og the woods it takes quite a long time to get an order filled. waiting on a tenacious, persistence, and a byrd crossbill. I want an orange millie next. And I've just been bitten by the spyder about a month ago. one like this.
