Manix clip question

Sometimes I see pics of the Maxix with 4 available clip positions and sometimes I see pics with it being tip-down only. WTF? Have there been changes already?

I want one that's right-hand tip-up. I'm going to have to be careful which one I buy online, yes?
 
Nope, you're right. The clip can be positioned four ways; tip-up or tip down, for right or left hand carry. :D
 
I believe that is the way the Manix was designed and has always been produced. I haven't heard of any clip carry changes in either this or the Spydie home forum. ;)

I think the picture shown on the Spyderco website appears to be tip-down only. It is possibly a prototype pictured?

As far as I know all production models have 4-way clip carry.
