So a buddy of mine has a sprint run FFG Manix in CTSBD30.

Is there any way, I mean ANY WAY that you guys over there can do a production run of the Manix in the smaller size in FFG? I guess they were done before, but I know a lot of people would like them. I don't care as long as the steel is good (154CM, S30V, even VG-10 and the carpenter steels similar in composition).

I highly doubt VG10 (Japanese steel) would be a candidate for the American made knife. There's been a ton of sprints already too. I think someone wote that the regular Manix2 was supposed to go FFG in 154CM. I might be mistaken though.

I think the regular manix was supposed to be gradually changed to s30v? Hopefully also to ffg :)

No FFG on the production S30V manix 2.

my CTS-XHP is FFG. I didn't realize most of them weren't FFG now. Sweet knife but I like the PM2 even better

@RevDevil,
I was just using VG-10 as an example. I guess there won't be ffg though...

Could I ask why this is rycen? So many people love the Spyderco ffg.

I would guess it to keep costs lower and differentiate the sprint from the regular production manix 2.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking for? A sprint run Manix 2 with a FFG blade and good steel? Or the original Manix design? There were a lot of the "smaller" Manix 2 sprint run knives made before the Para2 came out. There were probably close to a dozen different sprint runs made. I tried to collect all of them and I bought 2 of each to have a back up. Once I had close to 16 Manix 2 knives it was time to stop. Guess I need to start trading for some of those harder to find knives out there. A super leaf is the only non sprint run knife I can think of right now that I would like to get.
