Manix? Persian? Scorpius?

Looking to purchase my first Spyderco....I've heard great things about the Manix,...the Scorpius looks unique, and the Persian is growing on me.

I don't have many knives, and my Rat Trap has been my EDC for awhile now.

Is the Persian a new offering by Spyderco?

All three are fairly recent, the Scorpius has been out the longest, debuting in early '03 IIRC, the Persian came out in November of '03 and the Manix in September/October of '04. All good knives in their own way, and each has a loyal following. My personal favorite is the Persian, but my uses for a knife tend toward food prep and field dressing the mail, in a very PC office environment. Depending on your needs and environment, YMMV.
