Manix S30V Rust Spots

Hey all, I received a Manix 2 XL with S30V blade that has some rust spots on the presentation side. Is there an easy fix to this? Maybe some steel wool or flitz? thought I would ask here first. thanks!

Can't tell if its rust or something else? Tried scrubbing with a tuff cloth, but it didn't have any effect.

Can't tell what it is but flitz certainly won't hurt

I would think flitz would do a great job!! Then I would soak it down with some Ballistol and let it soak in for awhile(5-10 minutes) Maybe even open the pours with a hair dyer before applying.

I would think Flitz would work perfectly fine.

Awesome, thanks guys! I've just never had s30v rust. Wasn't sure if it was something with the heat treat maybe.
