I just found my Manix after MONTHS of believing that my old roommate had taken it with him when he moved out...
i was moving some clothes around on my floor over next to my gun rack (i know i know, there shouldnt be a pile of clothes on the floor:grumpy: :thumbdn: ) and low and behold, my BRAND NEW manix was inside the spyderco case i bought at NGK for it specifically. I had been carrying my trusty Chinook II or III i cant really tell after hearing all i have heard about the II and III. oh well. But now I am influxing my Manix back into EDC. Everyone seems to comment on how big the thing is. I will say this, it is larger than any other folder i have, however, I dont see it as bulky or hard to carry. I carry it right side front pocket in my jeans and it doesnt pose any problems in relation to my G26 riding in my holster that carries the gun tight and high, even when sitting in the car of at the desk. I am still amazed at how thick the manix's blade is.
i was showing a few of the older gentlemen at the shop my manix when they were flashing and showing their sig sauer blades and new benchmade models and i pulled out my manix and i think one of the fellas said, "You can pry a train from the RR tracks with that blade, look at the thickness of that thing!" we had a laugh and went on about the day. but i am just glad i found the manix and am welcoming it back to EDC.
